DIN dual phase steel socket welded flange can take place of slip-on flange to connect pipes. One end of socket welded flange connects with pipe by using bolts. The other end of flange is welded with flange. The flange has counter bore whose inner diameter is equivalent to diameter. The flange has good flow characteristics. Socket welded flange has good corrosion resistance which can be applicable for corrosive medium. The flange is only used for high pressure small sizes pipe.
